The C.A.R.P. Tournament Series and the Baldwinsville Carp Tournament Committee have come together to bring you the annual Northeast Regional Carp Tournament hosted by the Red Mill Inn. Baldwinsville, NY is the site of the 2009 ACS Northeast regional held May 13-16. This third carp angling event follows on the heels of Baldwinsville’s highly successful 2007 and 2008 tournaments. The weight caught in 2007 and 2008 in total, added up from all the competitors, was 28,000 lbs. and 34,000 lbs., respectively. Radio, TV and sports magazine coverage included NYS, the Associated Press, Japan, France and the UK. Carp is the #1 sport fish in Europe as well as several Asian countries, and its popularity is catching on in the United States. The Seneca River is quickly being recognized in the international carp angling community as the top-rated carp angling location in America.
